Believe it or not I finished cleaning!

As you can see I finally got my craft room all clean in time for fall crafting.

I'm really looking forward to have a fresh space to work in. I love being in this room when it is clean. I will be having a killer garage sale next year however.

New Chair

Last week when I was dropping off my goodies at the Girl's Back Porch I found this darling chair. I love small chairs normally I don't buy rockers, but this one is so small it doesn't matter ( I don't collect children's rocking chairs because the rungs get in the way). I got home found a place for it and then realized that I didn't have a doll for it. I never ever make dolls for myself, but this time I did, and she came out really cute. Of course I can never make just one of anything, so her 3 sisters are at the store.

Okay, I am really embarrassed to show the whole world these pictures but this is why I'm taking two weeks to off from crafting to get my craft room in order. May sale at the Girl's Back Porch

We all have been working really hard over the last several weeks getting ready for the big sale this last weekend at the Girl's Back Porch. It was so much fun! I had a great time visiting with all of the different customers. I sold so much out of my booth I'll have to take new pictures to show you all. My old space is now the Americana area and I'm now  in the main room. Some of these pictures are of my space and some are of the store.  I even got one with my new raggedy. I'm also making candle cozies. These wrap around jar candle and have a great country look. I will have a bunch of these made up for my fall shows. As soon as I get my craft room clean I will also be making a bunch of Americana stuff from stitcheries to dolls. Then it will be time to get ready for fall shows.

More goodies at the Porch

      I know I haven't been posting - this blogging thing is new to me. I am not a natural writer and I'm still trying to get in the swing of things. Anyway I am going to try to up date my blog a couple of times a month but I'm sure it will take me a while to get into the habit.

       I have been a busy little crafter and have been filling my space up at the Girl's Back Porch in Keizer. I've been going through my Longaberger and have taken in a bunch of older baskets and some pottery - all of it below the Bentley Guide prices. I have also been having a great time making paper covered barn stars. They are just too much fun. I am going to make some more for my fall shows too. I also finally got around to making some Raggedies. I have more in the works right now. I have posted some pictures of my space so have fun looking.

I also wanted everyone to know that I'm not going to to the spring Blackberry Junction show this year. I'm trying hard to get a head of the game so I can have more things made for my fall shows.

Girl's Back Porch

The beginning of August I was luck to get a new larger space at The Girl's Back Porch in Keizer Oregon. I love selling at this store - it is so warm and friendly. This Sunday is a work day at the store for vendor's so I will be changing over my space to Fall and I am so excited! As you can see I had a sucessfull summer finding treasures for my space and have a bunch more in my garage just waiting for the ones in the store to sell. So keep coming back to see what goodies I have for the store.
