Aunt Bee's House Show Pictures

Well I spent several hours setting up and I love how my booth came out - so nice and prim. Here are some pictures....

Here are some other wonderful booths as well. I finished setting up before everyone else so some of the displays aren't done. If you live in Oregon - this show is so worth visiting...

Aunt Bee's House Show

I can't believe Aunt Bee's show is only a week away. There is so much more I want to get done.

It begins next thursday April 29th and April 30th 10 am to 6pm and May 1st 10am to 4pm.

It's sure to be a great show full with handmades, vintage and antiques and it will be restocked daily. Each vendor has their own space to set up, but there is one paying station. Click here for some pictures of last November's show (it was in a different location last year). Carol will be there with her quilts and lovely runners plus some other fabulous goodies. Plus Janet of Whatevers, the Goose Hollow Girls, Molly Mo's, and more.

Please feel free to email me with any questions about the show, and I'll try to find the answer. Now I have to get back to work on my Annies.

More goodies made and more to come...

I have been busy the last couple of days making more goodies for the Aunt Bee's show (which starts next Thursday!). I made a bunch of seed bags - that I managed to make look like they came from the attic. These are $3.50 each and come in a bunch of different colors. I also have several of these at the Girl's Back Porch now.
I also made a couple of make do's using vintage grinders and old quilts. They came out so neat. I totally need to make one for my craft room one day. These grinder make do's are $12.50 each and I took one to The Girl's Back Porch in case you can't wait until the show to get one.

I also got several penny rug candle mats made for the show. I made five in all (each one different) and now I'm working on some penny rug runners.

I have been busy making a bunch of stitcheries too-it has been too long since I've made any and now I have a nice variety to choose from for the show.  I had fun making stitcheries in old washboards as well. These would be so great in a laundry room.

Well I have to get back to work because drop off is less than a week away and there is so much more I want to finish. Right now I'm working on some darling raggdies and will try to take pictures and post them when I finish.

What have I been up to....

Well I've finally buckled down and I'm working like crazy to get some neat primitive items made for Aunt Bee's House upcoming show and for the stores (of course). I made a bunch of silhouettes for the stores and I'm planning on making some for the show. The ones pictured here are already at the Girl's Back Porch. And I bit off a little more than I could chew by making 12 Prairie dolls. I thought I was never going to finish. These dolls are made from a great pattern from Sweet Meadows Farm. Each doll has her own personality (they look so much better in person). I gave each one her own old- fashioned name. I will be selling these lovely prim gals for $17.50. Some will go to each store and the show. I will also be selling the benches in the picture and the twig chairs as well. I have to get back to more prim crafting. I will try to post my goodies as I finish them.

It's sale time !!!

Just a little post to let everyone know that tomorrow is the Spring sale / open house at The Girl's Back Porch. Everything in the store is on sale. I will be working from noon to 3pm if you would like to stop by and say hi. The sale runs from 10 pm to 6 pm this Saturday. I'm afraid I forgot my camera, but I did manage to squeeze some "new" goodies in to my space.

Longaberger on Ebay

For five years I was a Longaberger consultant and I loved every minute of it, but when I had all the baskets I needed for my craft room it was time to go back to being a customer so I could have more time for crafting. Well one side effect of being a consultant is now I have some "extra" Longaberger baskets and soon we will owe my parents a bunch of $ for the van we are buying from them so I am listing some of my baskets this week on ebay. I listed five today and hope to add more each day. You can find this basket (signed by Dave himself) and others click here to take a peek.
